When he died I found a small cardboard box, we wrapped him in tissue inside the box, my husband dug a hole in the corner of the back yard, we buried him and said a few words over him and covered the spot with a flat piece of wood to keep the dogs from digging it up.brbrIm not sure I could bear having one of my dogs buried in our yard even if we could dig a big enough hole we have very thin topsoil, you hit rock quickly because I love them so much I think it would hurt worse having that reminder so close every day.
