Yes, a hamster that my son got from school when the Biology project was finished and somebody had to take him home. There had been three hamsters in the class that the kids named Peanut, Butter and Jelly I thought those were clever names!. We had Peanut. When he died I found a small cardboard box, we wrapped him in tissue inside the box, my husband dug a hole in the corner of the back yard, we buried him and said a few words over him and covered the spot with a flat piece of wood to keep the dogs from digging it up.brbrIm not sure I could bear having one of my dogs buried in our yard even if we could dig a big enough hole we have very thin topsoil, you hit rock quickly because I love them so much I think it would hurt worse having that reminder so close every day.
