What acting workshop costs ,? I would be very wary about that. This isnt JRP, is it? If so, it is a scam please dont fall for it.brbrYou can find excellent acting workshops for a lot less money. No need to kill yourself trying to earn that much in such a short amount of time.brbrEDIT Have you already talked to NYFA? Because on their website it looks like they only take people and up. If thats the case, it gives you much more time to save up. brbrHowever, in my opinion not that youre looking for it, for an intensive course like they offer, its best to go in there with some experience and a real idea of what you specifically want to get out of it and where you need the most improvement. Its an expensive course so it only makes sense to make sure you can get all you can out of it. brbrIf you dont have experience or much experience, I would wait until you have more under your belt, so youre not spending so much money just for basics. You can get that from less expensive workshops... and just by doing. No matter where you live, people are making indy andor student films. Even if they dont pay, theyre an excellent way to gain experience, get a credit, and gain something for your acting reel. Doing theatre and taking theatre classes will help you polish your acting. brbrWhen you do plan to go to an expensive place like NYFA, make sure you do your research and even talk to former or current students and see what they think of the program. Know your specific goals and ask lots of questions to make sure the program is right for you. Ive seen mixed reviews about NYFA.brbrIf youre still serious about trying to earn that much... the way I made the most money in the shortest amount of time is by doing childrens parties. Balloon Animals, face painting, singing and playing princesses. At minimum I made an hour. Sometimes I would get over plus tips and cake! Since you are probably not old enough to join an entertainment company... you could probably advertise around the neighborhood and at the local elementary school. You couldnt ask for as much money, but if you couple birthday parties with babysitting, yard work, and maybe selling crafts or personal belongings ebay or yard sales you could conceivably earn that much if you push yourself.
